BRAX Becomes Official Fundraising Partner of USA Football

BRAX, known for helping youth sports organizations with their Brax spirit cups, becomes the latest company to partner with USA Football as both organizations strive to produce more revenue for youth football-associated institutions.

“We are delighted to be in a situation of teaming with USA Football and, considered in our opinion, the pinnacle of youth football,” said BRAX partner owner Pete Hexter.

“It’s an opportunity for us to position all of our goals, visions and objectives and clearly define a path to help youth organizations around the country,” said Hexter, who along with co-owner John Alexander founded BRAX in 1999.

The BRAX spirit cups boast logos and images associated with NFL and NCAA franchises.

With their partnership, BRAX and USA Football hope to accomplish their fundraising goals on both the local and national level.

“We want to help generate incremental dollars at the national level with USA Football that allows them to have additional revenue to go out and provide and grants and scholarships to these organizations around the U.S.,” said Hexter, who claims one of their main long-term goals with their partnership with USA Football is to provide between $250,000 to $400,000 of revenue on a national spectrum.

“There’s a dual objective--to help nationally with the headquarters of USA Football and help locally with the local youth sports franchises,” said Hexter, who operates BRAX out of Wilmington, NC.

Hexter also stated one of BRAX’s local-level fundraising goals is to generate around $2 million in 2008.

For fundraising purposes, BRAX has partnered with other organizations including NFL Youth Football, Pop Warner, Dixie Baseball and Softball, Sports Network International, the Boomer Esiason Foundation, USA Gymnastics and the Spirit Industry Trade Association.
