- Coaching during practice and games of a youth football season (including high school),
- Teaching during day camps and clinics
Coverage does not apply to:
- Coaching participants aged 19 and over,
- Coaching Professional teams
- Involvement in overnight activities clinics for any age group
This coverage will provide excess insurance over any other valid and collectible insurance (such as your team's insurance). In the case that no other insurance is available, this insurance will apply on a primary basis.
The following requirements need to be adhered to in order for the insurance to apply:
- Coaching Course Level 1 must be completed
- All participants must sign waivers releasing the coach from liability

- Each Occurrence Limit $1,000,000
- Personal and Advertising Injury Limit $1,000,000
- General Aggregate Limit (Other Than Products - Completed Operations) $1,000,000
- Product/Completed Operations Aggregate Limit $1,000,000
- Damage to Premises Rented to You Limit $100,000
- Participant Legal Liability Included
- Medical Expense Limit Excluded
- Abuse & Molestation Excluded
- Deductible None
Coverage Definitions:
- General Liability: Provides coverage to protect insured coaches from third party claims of bodily injury, property damage, personal injury and advertising injury due to alleged negligence arising from the coaching activities of the insured coach.
- Participant Legal Liability: Provides protection against actions brought against the insured for bodily injury to a participant (all participants must sign a waiver)
- Products & Completed Operations Liability: Provides bodily injury and property damage coverage for injuries resulting from your products/work occurring away from premise owned or rented by the insured (example: concessions, t-shirt sales, etc.).
- Personal & Advertising Injury: Protects the insured against injury, other than bodily injury, arising out of libel, slander, defamation of character, invasion of privacy, wrongful eviction, false arrest, wrongful detention or imprisonment and malicious prosecution from the negligent acts or omissions of the insured coach.
- Damage to Premises Rented to You: Provides coverage for your liability to others if you occupy leased or rented property for which you could be held legally liable for damage to the property due to fire or explosion.
