The stage has been set, and the world's greatest will soon be coming to Canton, Ohio. Legendary Fawcett Stadium, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, will be the host for the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) Junior World Championship in June 2009.

To stay up to date on everything involving the JWC, a new Web site has been launched. The site, jwcfootball.com, will be the official home for all tournament news, team updates and general information. As the final countries are chosen to compete and team rosters are chosen, look to this new site to keep you informed. You can get to know the Team USA coaches, learn more about the tournament's history and even purchase tickets to the big event online.

The JWC will showcase a tournament field of eight national teams (ages 19 and under) from across the globe. The United States is joined by Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Sweden as countries that have already been confirmed. Two additional spots remain for teams that must win their qualifying games to receive a tournament bid.

USA Football's Junior National Team will be the first to ever be comprised of America's best high school-aged athletes, and will be selected from the graduating class of 2009. Chuck Kyle, head coach at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, was selected as Team USA's head coach. Kyle, along with a staff of nine other coaches, will have the daunting task of filling out the roster to represent the U.S. in international competition next summer.
