I played high school football from 1971-74, lettering my sophomore, junior and senior years as a center/linebacker. I entered the US Air Force after graduation.

As a member of the USAF Honor Guard and Air Force One Presidential Unit, I flew with many dignitaries including President Ford and Carter. I attended University of Georgia in Athens from 1980-88, after attending undergraduate school at the University of Delaware, and graduated with a degree as a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine in 1988. I currently have my own mobile veterinary practice and am employed by Banifield Pet Hospital as Chief of Staff.

The primary life skill I learned was to never quit. Regardless of the situation, persistence prevails.
Greatest memory was playing for the Delaware State championships at the University of Delaware my junior and senior years.

Without a doubt my head coach Marty Apostolico was an immense influence on my life. His credibility and faith won my respect as a player. He was a true role model. Football teaches us life-lessons in a microcosm, working together for one goal. Giving whatever it takes to help the team.
