USA Football provides screening packages through National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI), allowing your league to easily submit, track, and access background checks.
Managing a youth football league requires dedication to the game, but you can simplify background checks and training for coaches and staff.
League administrators of organizations enrolled with USA Football can conveniently access everything they need in one centralized location.
Your coaches and staff can use their USA Football accounts to start their background checks and coach certifications, while you can easily access your league's dashboards to monitor each coach or staff member.
NCSI is a leader in youth-centered background screening solutions, providing strict and secure protection for individuals and organizations. Through in-depth investigations, NCSI goes beyond a standard database-only search to provide thorough screenings with:
✓ Two multi-jurisdictional database searches (MJD)
✓ Two sex offender registry searches (SOR)
✓ Social security number validation
✓ Name and address history records
✓ OFAC and multiple other national watch lists
✓ All jurisdiction (county) searches within 7 years of address history
✓ Additional country criminal records search based on MJD results

NCSI is USA Football's preferred background screening solutions partner, offering compliant checks for youth organizations for as low as $15.00 per coach annually for a two-year check, including a 12-month follow-up.
Premium background checks are National Council for Youth Sports approved and US Olympic and Paralympic Committee compliant. Commissioners, Presidents, or league representatives can sign up to order background checks for their entire league. This option allows for the order of multiple background checks.
