Tackle and flag are included in the Youth Coach Course, so no matter the type of game you coach, you'll be ready for your season.
🅘Our system will automatically determine your level based on previous training by using your registered USA Football Account and email (using a different email or account requires starting over at Level 1). Returning coaches are required to complete Health & Safety training every four years and Abuse Prevention training every two years. Additionally, eligible Level 2 coaches must complete an elective course in 2026 and pass reassessment quizzes each year to maintain compliance.

The Youth Coach Course cost is $24.50. Coaches in Enrolled organizations will receive a discount on their Youth Coach Course and can contact their organization for more info.
No, the Youth Coach Course is non-refundable. If you failed to use a promo code provided by your organization, you will need to contact them directly for reimbursement.
If you're not currently associated with an organization, it may prevent you from using a promo code for purchasing the Youth Coach Course or from being tracked by your administrator on their course completion report. You can associate with your respective organization via your USA Football account under the "Organizations" tab. Search the name of the organization and click "Associate" for your respective organization. To confirm you're correctly associated with the organization in the system, contact your organization's administrator. No, the reassessment quiz is not the only thing you must complete for the Level 2 Youth Coach Course. While the quiz is part of the process, you will also need to complete additional courses.
If you fail the reassessment quiz, you won't be able to retake it. However, you can still complete the Health & Safety module and the other required Level 2 modules to earn your Training Badge for completion.
Be sure to check your account dashboard for any remaining modules that need to be completed. The Training Badge you earn after completing the Youth Coach Course is valid for the calendar year it is finished. For instance, if a coach completes their Course on August 1, it will be valid until December 31. After this period, coaches must renew by completing all the course requirements to stay up-to-date with the latest coaching practices, safety protocols, and other essential knowledge.
